The 48-hour Filmmakers Fest is a competition that gave aspiring filmmakers of all ages the chance to create a 3-5-minute movie in just 48 hours. Each film — from writing and shooting to editing and sound design – occurred between Friday, Oct. 7, and Sunday, Oct. 9.

On Saturday, Oct. 15 at 5:30 PM all submissions will be screened at the Giant Screen Theater, at which time the winner and runner-up will be announced. In addition, a special People’s Choice award will be selected based on audience vote that night. Seating is limited and first come first serve. Doors will open at 5 PM. 

PRIZES:

  • First Place: trophy, $500, Golden Ticket good for two free passes to any/all movies at the Giant Screen Theater for one year
  • Runner-up: trophy, $250
  • People's Choice: trophy
