INTERNATIONAL FEATURES GALLERY

The International Features Gallery will continue Lakeview Museum's strong tradition of world-renowned exhibitions to Peoria. Gallery space will grow from the current 10,000 square feet at Lakeview to 30,000 square feet at the Peoria Riverfront Museum.

Experience some of The Smithsonian Institution's largest traveling exhibits— like the expansive "American Presidency," "First Ladies" and "Star Wars" exhibits—in the larger gallery space. Or view other loaned collections and individual items, including the Peoria Falcon, an embossed 9"x7" copper plate portraying a bird of prey. The plate is at least 500 years old and is thought to have been part of a ceremonial headdress worn by warrior chiefs of this region.
