The creation of Museum Square will be one of the largest developments in Peoria's history and home to two large facilities—the Peoria Riverfront Museum and the Caterpillar Visitors Center. The project will have a positive impact on our quality of life, contribute to lifelong learning and spur economic development in the region. And you can help make it happen.

So far we have raised $82 million for the Peoria Riverfront Museum. We have committed to our partners and the community that we will raise an additional $10 million to make sure the museum is fully funded and properly endowed to support exhibits, operations, future acquisitions and other needs.

This new funding will come from a combination of new market tax credits, grants and private donations from generous people and companies in our community. The effort to secure these funds is being spearheaded by the Peoria Riverfront Museum Board, the CEO Roundtable, the Museum Collaboration Group and Caterpillar Inc.

A wide variety of naming opportunities are available—from naming a theater seat to the entire facility. The museum also will offer naming opportunities for acquisitions and collections.
