A permanent community
art installation

Be a part of the historical opening of the Peoria Riverfront Museum by participating in our Community Art Tile Program. When you donate $25, your artwork or photography will be permanently displayed in a special museum installation.

Create artwork or provide a photograph that represents art, science, history or achievement. For $25 your artwork or photo will be reproduced on a 6”x6” textured glass tile which will be installed in the classroom corridor in the new museum. As a thank you, we’ll also send you a keepsake tile.

The Gift that Keeps Giving

In addition to supporting the museum with your tile purchase, you can also order various products customized with your artwork. These products are available for purchase at www.silvergraphics.com. A percentage of each purchase will be donated back to the museum.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Option 1: Create and submit your artistic representation of art, history, science or achievement.

Artwork must be submitted on paper in a square format no larger than 12"x12". White or colored paper is ideal. Avoid lined or pre-printed paper. Do not use pencil, light crayon, or fluorescent or metallic materials (no glitter). Use a fixative on chalk pastels.

Artwork must be flat: no three-dimensional items will be accepted. Finished artwork should have as little whitespace as possible. Only original artwork is accepted; trademarked items cannot be used.

Option 2. Come to a creative workshop hosted by the Peoria Riverfront Museum.

Option 3. Give someone else the chance to be creative.

You can purchase and donate a tile on behalf of a child or local organization. We will partner with local organizations to find a child to decorate the tile you have donated.
