Since 2018, the Big Picture Peoria Film Festival has been shining a light on Midwest voices. BPPFF is an opportunity for filmmakers to come together, screen their films and celebrate their work with support from the Peoria community. Each year, around 30 short films are presented on the giant screen at the Peoria Riverfront Museum.
The festival features four screenings, including one family-friendly program. Before each screening, local musicians take the stage for live performances accompanied by visuals on the giant screen. Beyond the films, BPPFF offers opportunities to connect through networking events and after-parties, including a Saturday night after-party in the Museum Lobby and DOME Planetarium from 8–10 p.m.
New this year: VIP Passes
VIP Passes include preferred seating reserved at all four screenings, a filmmaker meet-and-greet, and admission to the Saturday night after-party.

Keep the celebration going Saturday night at the BPPFF After Party! Admission is $20 and includes one complimentary specialty cocktail from Zion, with non-alcoholic options available, plus free pizza and snacks. A cash bar will also be available, with a DJ and dance party taking over the Planetarium from 8–10 p.m.
