Your membership is an investment in your community. As a museum member, you support a cultural resource that provides unique exceptional services to central Illinois. Your membership helps care for and conserve Peoria Riverfront Museum’s collection of 17,000 artifacts and makes possible a rich variety of teaching and outreach programs.

NATIONAL ASSOCIATE | begins at $65: Low-cost, digital-first membership for supporters that live 90 miles outside the Peoria area. Members enjoy basic level benefits, exclusive emails, videos and content via Bloomberg Connects, affinity group updates, and invitations to select National
Associates events–making it easy to stay connected from anywhere. Reciprocal benefits only eligible for 90 miles away from your place of residence and the Peoria Riverfront Museum itself.
MEMBERSHIP PLUS
ASSOCIATE | begins at $175: 2 adults and children or grandchildren under age 18, PLUS extra benefits such as additional discounts, travel benefits and event tickets.
SUPPORTER | begins at $275: 2 adults and children or grandchildren under age 18, PLUS extra benefits such as additional discounts, travel benefits, event tickets, and 6 additional guest passes.
AMBASSADOR | begins at $500: 2 adults and children or grandchildren under age 18, PLUS 3 additional guests per visit and extra benefits
Membership FAQ
All members receive benefits through the ASTC (Association of Science -Technology Centers) Passport Program. ASTC members include not only science centers and museums, but also nature centers, aquariums, planetariums, zoos, botanical gardens, space theaters, and natural history and children’s museums, as well as companies that offer products and services to the field and nonprofit organizations that have an interest in science education.

NARM is one of the largest reciprocal membership programs in the world with members in the United States, Bermuda, Canada, El Salvador, and Mexico! NARM has over 1,000 arts, cultural, and historical institutions along with botanical gardens, children’s museums, science and technology centers and more that offer their individual NARM qualified members reciprocal benefits.

Time Travelers is a reciprocal membership network for historical museums, site, and societies throughout the United States. The Missouri Historical Society created the program in 1998 so that members of historical institutions could receive exclusive benefits and privileges at museums and historical sites nationwide.
If you are a member at the National Associates level, your reciprocal benefits only apply to museums and institutions 90 miles or more from the Peoria Riverfront Museum AND your place of residence.

We recommend grandparents sign up for a Family membership or higher. These memberships give free admission to our museum to two adults and any children or grandchildren under the age of 18.
We offer a $5 discount to seniors 60+, students, and military. If you are purchasing a membership online, use the code "5OFF" or show the appropriate identification when purchasing your membership.
No. Your membership will expire at the same time the following year. For example, if your membership expires in September and you renew in August, your new cards will expire September 30 of the next year.
Yes. When signing up for a membership, please be sure to let the attendant at the ticket desk know or email membership@peoriariverfrontmuseum.org.
Yes. We offer a Community Access membership for fellow nonprofits. The cost is $105, and you will receive one membership card that will allow up to eight guests per day to visit our museum. For more information, email our membership manager Mary Catherine.
Digital Membership Card
The Peoria Riverfront Museum is currently completing the largest membership system upgrade in the museum’s history. As part of this exciting update, members now receive digital membership cards that can be downloaded directly to a smartphone. This means no more searching for a misplaced card. Your digital membership card can be easily saved to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet for quick access whenever you visit the museum.
We will no longer be using the E-Membership app, where you may have found your membership card digitally in the past. Going forward, all digital memberships will be in the upgraded system, savable to your Apple or Google Wallet.
