Object Donation or Appraisal Inquiry

Become a Part of the Museum

The Peoria Riverfront Museum welcomes donations and loans of objects and materials that support its mission to unleash the full talent and genius of every individual. As the only multidisciplinary museum of its kind in the nation, the Museum uses art, science, history, and human achievement to inspire confidence, lifelong learning, and talent. Objects accepted into the Museum’s permanent collection help tell meaningful stories and fulfill these goals.

Loans provide another way for individuals and organizations to share important objects with our community while retaining ownership. All potential donations and loans are carefully reviewed by Museum staff and appropriate committees to ensure they align with the Museum’s collections policies, care capabilities, and interpretive goals. Please note that the review process may take up to three months from the initial offer to final committee approval. The Peoria Riverfront Museum staff is not able to provide appraisal services.
