Carlos Valladares is a writer and critic from Los Angeles, currently residing in New York. Valladares studied film at Stanford University and began his PhD in History of Art and Film & Media Studies at Yale University in fall 2019. He contributes regularly to the Gagosian, Art in America, n+1, and Frieze.
