This traveling touch tank from the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium is bringing LIVE ocean animals to the Peoria Riverfront Museum on the official opening day of Sharks!

Enjoy an educational presentation that breaks down common misconceptions surrounding sharks and rays, as well as highlighting the unique adaptations these animals have to survive. This program allows participants to explore the important roles sharks and rays that live thousands of miles away, and how people can help protect them.
Participants will have an opportunity to get their hands wet and touch some of the animals.
