Dean Regas: How To Teach Grown-Ups About Pluto

Nationally-renowned public speaker, author, educator, and popularizer of astronomy Dean Regas will be presenting on Pluto in the Dome Planetarium at 4:00 PM on Sunday, July 14, an Access For All day at Peoria Riverfront Museum.
Dean served as the astronomer for the Cincinnati Observatory from 2000-2023 and was the Astronomer in Residence at the Grand Canyon in 2021. From 2010-2019 he was the co-host of the PBS program Star Gazers.
Dean has contributed to Astronomy magazine, Sky &Telescope magazine, Farmer's Almanac, USA Today, Science Friday, and Here & Now, and is the host of a popular astronomy podcast called Looking Up with Dean Regas. He is also the author of six books including How to Teach Grown-Ups About Pluto , which will be the topic of his presentation in the Dome.
